Design Edge announces seminar program at Design City

TORONTO — Design Edge Canada has announced a new seminar and workshop program for designers to take place at this year’s Design City show, Nov. 22-24 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.


The program consists of three seminars (each repeated twice) and three workshops. The seminars cost $75 each and include full admission to the combined Design City and Print World show. The workshops, on the theme of sustainability and design, are free with admission to the show ($18 at the door or $9 if you pre-register).

How to Sell Design
Moderator: Craig Swistun, RGD, writes Design Edge Canada’s popular “Mind Your Business” column, focusing on practical business tips for designers. He has worked as a designer and creative manager for various corporations and design agencies, co-founded a small graphic design firm, and worked as a freelance designer. He will be joined on the panel by leading designers representing small, mid-size and large design firms.
