NABS kicks off ad auction
TORONTO—The National Advertising Benevolent Society launched its 18th annual advertising auction fundraiser today. NABS is a charitable organization that provides assistance to industry professionals in communications and related industries who may need help due to illness, injury, unemployment or financial difficulties. Over $3.5 million in media was donated for the auction, which runs from Feb. 17 to Apr. 17.
The auction is open to any advertiser, agency or organization that uses media in the communication. Over 300 media packages are available at discounted rates, with prices ranging from $200 to $100,000-plus.
The entire inventory list for NABS Ad Auction 2009 can soon be viewed online. A 72-page colour booklet is also available upon request.
