“Best of Show winners are a testament to the creative potential of the magazine medium.
These ads stop, engage and influence readers in powerful ways,” said Magazines Canada in a press release.
In second placed was Amnesty International, from TBWA Paris, while third place went to Monster.com from JWT Hong Kong.
The event showcases award-winning magazine ads from around the world and hosted 850-plus attendees. An amazing 117 of the 150 ads captured votes. It featured exhibitions of 150 international award winners from the Cannes Lions Festival, the Epica Awards, the Créa Awards and Canada’s own Marketing Awards.
“The Best on Page exhibit attracted attendees from across the creative, design, media, production, publishing and marketing communities,” stated Magazines Canada.
The event is produced by Magazines Canada and is supported by Marketing magazine and the Ontario Media Development Corporation. Contact: www.magazinescanada.ca
