OTTAWA–Award-winning advertiser Bruce Sinclair has taken the creative helm at Fuel Industries, where he was recently named the new chief creative officer. Sinclair is now in the process of relocation to Fuel’s Ottawa office after a stint freelancing in Vancouver.

"One of the things about Fuel that is amazing is the talent pool here. It is so diverse,” said Sinclair, who adds that he’s taking the time to meet with all his staff.
The chief creative officer’s position came open when Warren Tomlin was promoted to president of Fuel’s Ottawa office. He replaced co-founder Jeff Doiron, who is now running Fuel’s Los Angeles office.
Sinclair built his internationally recognized reputation working at such design studios as DDB, MacLaren McCann, Blast Radius and most recently Rethink. His past clients include Sony Playstation, Nike, General Motors, Lego and The Vancouver International Film Festival. Sinclair has over 70 international awards and has judged the Cannes Lions, London International and Applied Arts.
Fuel Industries was created in 1999 and has grown into a leader in interactive advertising, branding and marketing. The company's portfolio includes a full HD and film production division called Karbon Arc, and the sound design division, Fuel Sounds. Fuel Industries clients include Microsoft, McDonalds, HBO, Nokia, Subaru and Vans, which just launched the Fuel created game Vans Sk8:Pool Service app for the iPhone.
“Fuel is a production company, it’s a video game developer, and it’s a interactive advertising agency. It’s all these different things to the point where you can’t even really tell somebody, in one clear sentence, what it is,” Sinclair said. “We are all those things.”
