Finch introduces new enviro sheet for digital
GLEN FALLS, NY—Finch Paper has introduced a 30% recycled fibre paper designed for digital printing. Finch Casa Opaque, which also sports FSC and SFI certification, is an uncoated sheet made for colour and black-and-white printing on digital systems including the Canon imagePress, Kodak Nexpress and Xerox machines.
The paper is available in 60, 70, and 80 lb. text and 80 lb. cover, and comes with Finch Paper's Digital Performance Guarantee. Finch Casa Opaque, stocked for both offset and digital presses, is made in the U.S. with 66% renewable energy.
“Government and university in-plants lead the list of printers looking for a digital house paper that meets a high environmental standard at an affordable price,” says Anthony McDowell of Finch Paper. “Finch Casa Opaque Digital uniquely fills this market gap.”
The debut of Finch Casa Opaque Digital is second in a series of digital paper developments in the queue for this year. The company launched Finch Fine iD 130 lb. Double Thick Cover earlier this year.
As part of a landmark environmental partnership with The Nature Conservancy (TNC), Finch foresters manage more than 160,000 acres of forestland owned by TNC in New York's famed Adirondack Region.
Finch Paper samples can be ordered at www.finchpaper.com.
