MONTREAL—Sid Lee (formerly Diesel) is continuing to expand its global presence, with plans to set up an office in Paris. The development comes a few months after the agency opened a branch in Amsterdam, a move sparked by the agency's winning of the worldwide Adidas Originals account.

Sid Lee was founded in 1993.

One-time DDB Paris creative director Sylvaine Thirache has told the French trade press he will head up the new branch. The company isn't saying much else about the new office right now, but when the Amsterdam office was opened in Novemeber, Sid Lee president Jean-Francois Bouchard told Marketing, “This whole endeavour was not about coming here to try and win clients geographically. It was about enriching our creative culture with new ideas, new people and new ways of doing things.”
