Design Edge Canada, the print companion to DesignEdgeCanada.com, has been named Trade Magazine of the Year by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors for the second year in a row.

Editor Ann Meredith Brown accepted the award at CSME's annual banquet held in Toronto last night.

“These awards recognize the best of the best in Canadian magazines," said CSME president Bob Sexton.

In the consumer magazine section, Toronto-based Spacing magazine won in the small-circulation category; Spacing's publisher is creative director Matt Blackett. Other winners included Vancouver magazine (mid-size) and Today's Parent (large circulation).
