Brady Dahmer Design adds five new accounts
VANCOUVER—Originally based in Toronto, Vancouver’s Brady Dahmer Design (BDD) added five new accounts to its roster this fall. Millson Technologies, Gammon International, Variety, Virgin Radio and MyThum Interactive have pushed the number of clients the company works with to north of 50, says principal Brady Dahmer.

Starting out as a freelancer, Dahmer says he quickly began working on accounts that were too big to handle on his own. After moving the business west in the name of “fun and exploring” Dahmer started hiring employees four years ago and is now up to six, including four designers.

Dahmer is focused on adding companies who still have budgets to work with, such as the recent partnership with Virgin Radio. “They went onto our website and saw some of the work we were doing,” he says. “They didn’t want standard radio stuff, they wanted something with some personality, a little more animated, artistic, explosive.”

Doing something out of the ordinary is par for the BDD course, says Dahmer, who likes to create original experiences for each client. “Trying to create original artwork, photography, typography,” he says. “We’ve done more illustrative work for our clients than what’s been done out here. We try to have fun, to stand out from the crowd.” Contact: Bradydahmer.com

I wonder if the photo layout is supposed to be a clever attempt at illustrating how they're so super...
